Android 9.4.0.462 (Beta)

Performance in Android is very poor when dealing with the threshold between weak Wi-Fi and weak data. Turn on Flight Mode on the phone and it's actually pretty good. If you have a fast connection it is also pretty good. If you have a rubbish connection or your phone is flicking back and forth between WiFi and mobile data and the performance is terrible. Would it be possible for SplashID to carry out a 'Slow Connection Check' (similar to that within Windows Server clients which may have a poor connection) to determine what level of data connection with the servers are required? Then you could warn users that they are on a slow connection and disable automatic synchronisation. Just trying to think of where the bottlenecks may be within the inevitable huge amount of data processing which is required to keep records fresh. Please keep as much decision making on the phone as possible, so you are less reliant upon potentially unstable connections to the Internet. Thanks, Angus
